THE REVITALIZATION OF ANY SPACE IS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN ITS SUCCESS AND LONGEVITY. To revive this property, the landlord expanded its footprint at one end of the mall and rejuvenated the food court and upper level to attract clientele.

The 9-month, $10 million endeavour included the teardown of the existing retail spaces, seating area, food merchants, 2nd-floor access, washrooms and the Mall entrance. While expanding its footprint, Quoin increased the number of food vendors and created a functional seating area with perimeter booths, high-top tables, and high ceiling lines to create a significant effect. New men’s and women’s washrooms, a family room, and a child nursing station were installed to ensure mothers’ privacy and comfort in feeding infants. The 2nd-floor garnered a new facelift with dedicated escalator access and a storefront visible from far distances.

The transformation was met with praise from patrons and the client alike as Quoin successfully delivered the project on time and within budget. The project’s success was a testament to the hard work and dedication of all project stakeholders. The construction insight provided by the Quoin team was invaluable in forecasting design elements and mitigating risk.
